Background
The tea has turned bitter. Whose fault was it? Did Alf mess up the blend again? Or did the leaves ferment with time? The Detective remembered the embarrassing first cup of tea he had—with his elder sister. One not knowing how firmly to hold the cup, the other not knowing which way to stir the spoon. The tea wasn't good, but it never left a bitter taste. The answer dissolved with the afternoon light... Time to depart.
